Abstract:
In this article a microstrip diplexer is proposed which has good performance in multisystem DAS solution, when combining DCS and UMTS, as can be seen in simulation results. The diplexer is based in an elliptic filter for 1800 MHz with a steeped impedance structure and a Chevyshev filter for 2150 MHz with a hairpin line structure, to ensure compactness. The diplexer has low insertion loss, less than 0.5 dB and provides more than 20 dB of isolation. A lumped element model for the diplexer is presented.
